Andrew Chute has joined the firm as our newest Associate Attorney, bringing a sharp analytical mind and a deep-seated commitment to the families of Southern California.
A Foundation Built Inside the Courtroom
Andrew’s path to family law wasn’t just academic; it was hands-on. During his time with the San Diego Superior Court’s Office of the Family Law Facilitator, he served as a Student Law Clerk and Summer Legal Intern.
By assisting self-represented litigants with divorce, child custody, and parentage actions, Andrew gained a rare “behind-the-scenes” look at the judicial process. This experience gave him a unique perspective on how court decisions are actually reached and an intimate understanding of the specific hurdles fathers face when fighting for their rights.

Strategic Thinking and Rigorous Advocacy
Before joining our firm, Andrew honed his litigating skills in the world of civil law, handling complex claims involving fraud and consumer protection. He further sharpened his legal pen through two Judicial Externships at the United States District Court for the Southern District of California. There, he researched intricate legal questions and assisted in drafting judicial orders—skills that now allow him to craft compelling arguments for our clients.
