Andrew Chute

Andrew Chute is an Associate Attorney at Reel Fathers Rights, where he is dedicated to advocating for fathers navigating the complexities of the family law system. With a legal background grounded in both civil litigation and hands-on family law support, Andrew brings a strategic and compassionate approach to his clients’ cases.

Andrew’s passion for family law is rooted in his time with the San Diego Superior Court’s Office of the Family Law Facilitator. There, he served as a Student Law Clerk and Summer Legal Intern, assisting self-represented litigants with critical issues including divorce, child custody, and parentage actions. This experience gave him a unique “behind-the-bench” perspective on how family court decisions are made and the challenges parents face when navigating the legal system alone.

Prior to joining Reel Fathers Rights, Andrew practiced civil litigation, handling claims involving fraud and consumer protection. His legal acumen was further sharpened through two Judicial Externships at the United States District Court for the Southern District of California. In tIn these roles, he researched complex legal questions and assisted in drafting judicial orders, developing the high-level writing and analytical skills he now utilizes for his clients.

Andrew earned his Juris Doctor from California Western School of Law. During law school, he distinguished himself as a Senior Teaching Fellow, a member of the Law Review, and a Research Assistant to the Director of International Legal Studies.
