
Monrow A. Mabon
Background: Monrow A. Mabon is a Senior Trial Attorney at Reel Fathers Rights. A persuasive and successful trial lawyer, he captures the respect of clients, jurors, and judges. His background extends beyond law he is a Vietnam Era veteran who served his country with distinction and honor. After sustaining a service-connected injury, he received an Honorable Discharge from the United States Army. Undeterred by injury or disability, he pursued careers as both a police officer and a lawyer.
Experience: Monrow began his career in law enforcement as an officer with the Los Angeles Police Department (LAPD). While serving as an officer, he attended law school and was selected as a member of LAPD’s Discovery Unit, where he gained extensive experience in interrogatories, depositions, and various motions. This led to his appointment as LAPD’s Judicial Liaison Officer. He continued to rise through the ranks, ultimately becoming the Commanding Officer of LAPD’s Equal Employment Opportunity and Development Division, responsible for monitoring LAPD’s consent decrees.
Role At Reel Fathers Rights: Following his retirement from LAPD, Monrow served as a Staff Attorney for the Office of Legal Affairs (OLA) for the State of California. In this role, he provided legal counsel to state officials on administrative, criminal, and civil matters. He retired from state service as a Senior Supervising Attorney for the Office of Legal Affairs, Southern California Region. After his government service, he transitioned into private practice, focusing on criminal, family, estate planning, and probate law. His extensive experience in both public and private legal sectors has led to his role at Reel Fathers Rights, APC.
