Five attorneys at Reel Fathers Rights have been selected to the 2027 California Super Lawyers and Rising Stars lists. Three are recognized for the first time.
Tom Chapin, a Senior Trial Attorney in the firm’s Corona office, has been selected to the 2027 California Super Lawyers list. This exclusive honor recognizes the top 5% of outstanding lawyers in California who have attained a high degree of peer recognition and professional achievement. Chapin has practiced in California since 2002, is the author of a practitioner’s guide on prosecuting and defending domestic violence restraining orders, and previously served as Lead Counsel for Humboldt County Counsel.
Four attorneys have been selected to the 2027 California Rising Stars list. This exclusive honor recognizes the top 2.5% of the lawyers in California who have attained a high degree of peer recognition and professional achievement. To be eligible for the Rising Stars list, a candidate must be either 40 years old or younger, or in practice for 10 years or less.
Sahar Scioneaux, a Certified Family Law Specialist and Senior Trial Attorney in the Irvine office, has been selected for a third consecutive year, following selections in 2025 and 2026. She is certified as a Family Law Specialist by the State Bar of California Board of Legal Specialization and handles divorce, child custody, spousal support, asset protection, and family law mediation matters.
Mark Reel Jr, Founder and Chief Executive Officer, has been selected for a second consecutive year, following his 2026 selection. He holds an AV Preeminent peer review rating from Martindale-Hubbell and serves as President of the Board of the National Council for Equal and Shared Parenting.
Priyanka Bhattacharya, a Senior Trial Attorney in the Corona office, holds a Doctor of Juridical Science from Chicago-Kent College of Law and a Master of Laws from the University of California, Berkeley School of Law. She represents fathers in divorce, child custody, child support, domestic violence, and paternity matters.
Nicky Kvitsinski, an Associate Attorney in the Irvine office, was admitted to the State Bar of California in 2023. She graduated magna cum laude from Western State College of Law, where she received three CALI Awards and the Witkin Award for scholarly achievement.
