Dr. Bhattacharya represents fathers in the Inland Empire who want to protect their place in their children’s lives. In a paternity case, the court decides whether a man is legally a child’s father, which opens the door to custody and visitation orders. In custody and support cases, she helps fathers ask the court for a fair parenting plan and a support order based on accurate income information. She also defends fathers at restraining order hearings, where the outcome can affect custody, housing, and firearm rights.

Dr. Bhattacharya is licensed to practice law in both India and California. She earned her B.B.A. LL.B. with Honors from National Law University Odisha in India in 2016 and was admitted to the Bar Council of India in 2019. She then earned a Master of Laws in Law and Technology from the University of California, Berkeley, School of Law in 2017 and a Doctor of Juridical Science from Chicago Kent College of Law at the Illinois Institute of Technology in 2022, where her doctoral research addressed fairness, bias, and the governance of artificial intelligence. She was admitted to the State Bar of California in 2021 and joined Reel Fathers Rights as an associate attorney in 2022. In 2025 she completed the National Institute for Trial Advocacy Family Law Program, and in February 2026 the firm promoted her to Senior Trial Attorney.

Dr. Bhattacharya prepares each case with the court’s standard in mind, the best interest of the children. She explains each stage of a case in plain terms, from the first filing through mediation, hearings, and trial, so fathers know what to expect. She speaks English, Hindi, and Bengali and can work directly with Hindi and Bengali speaking fathers and their families. Dr. Bhattacharya works from the Corona headquarters, one of eleven Reel Fathers Rights offices throughout California.
