Senior Trial Attorney
James P. Rudolph is an attorney based out of Reel Fathers’ Rights, San Diego Office. With nearly 20 years of experience in law, his career spans working with top law firms, including Robbins Geller Rudman & Dowd, where he focused on securities litigation and class action certifications. Mr. Rudolph also worked with WilmerHale in Washington, D.C., and Skadden Arps in New York. His resume includes time working with international leaders including Nigerian President Goodluck Jonathan and Muhammadu Buhari. He’s had the honor of meeting Prime Minister Tony Blair in London and German Chancellor Gerhard Schroder in Germany. In 2015, he served in the Bureau of African Affairs at the U.S. Department of State, focusing on international law and human rights.
James has vast legal experience in family law. He has considerable experience representing clients in high-conflict cases including divorce, intricate business valuation and income determination, complex custody matters, child support, spousal support, asset and debt division, prenuptial agreements, postnuptial agreements, family law mediation and trust and estate planning.
His style is unique, and it is grounded in the experience of his first job at his family’s restaurant. This contributed to a strong work ethic and provided what many others in the field lose sight of: an absolute dedication to the client’s interests and needs. A dedicated community servant, Rudolph ran for city council in 2020 and continues his role as a community leader as Past President and current executive committee member of La Jolla Town Council.
James has represented men and fathers in Family Courts throughout Southern California, including San Diego, Vista and other Southern California Courthouses.
